Update On Degree Deodorant Deal

Hello everyone! :)

Yesterday I posted about a Catalina deal that is going on with Degree deodorants. I had heard that you could double dip this one and end up getting $8 back instead of $4.

Today, I went to Harris Teeter and bought 4 women's deodorant and got a $4 OYNO Catalina but that was all. So, it works for some but not for everyone.

Just wanted to give you a head's up on this in case you weren't able to double dip!

Have a great day everyone!

Degree Deodorant Money Maker!

There are a 3 different Degree deodorant catalina (YOUR BUCKS offers) that are happening at many stores. Log into your CouponNetwork account to see which of your stores are included.

Get up to $4 oyno when you buy Degree Men’s, Degree Women’s and any Degree (8/8 – 9/4)

Buy 2 Get $1 Catalina
Buy 3 Get $2 Catalina
Buy 4 Get $4 Catalina

From what I have heard it has been confirmed that the Women’s & Men’s Degree catalinas double dip with the ANY Degree catalina!!  That means if you buy 4 Degree Mens deodorant, you get a $4 catalina for the Degree Men’s YOUR BUCKS and a $4 catalina for the ANY Degree YOUR BUCKS.  Same thing goes for Women’s.  That means with NO COUPONS you get back $8 wyb 4 – so $2 off each one.

Here is an example from Harris Teeter:

4 Degree Men’s Invisible Stick Clean Scent Deodorant 2.7 oz $2.50 = $10.00
- $4 using (4) $1/1 from the 7/31 RedPlum insert
final = $6.00, get (2) $4 Catalinas = $2.00 Money Maker after coupons & catalinas

Your scenario may differ. When I do this deal tomorrow it will be a $6 money maker for me!

If you have them gather up your Degree Anti-perspirant and Deodorant 7/31/2011 RP Insert (exp 8/28/2011) coupons and ROCK this moneymaker!

PLEASE NOTE: Most stores are participating in the Women's and Any promotions but not all stores are participating in the Men's! Be sure to check cuoponnetwork.com to make sure YOUR store is participating! Also, make sure your store has a Catalina machine. My Rite Aid didn't have one even though it said that Rite Aid was participating!

For me, I'm planning on using my $1/1 coupons (that's what I got instead of $.75) this week during Super Doubles at Harris Teeter and take advantage of this.

Thanks Maven of Savin'!

Good Deals For 8/9/11!

Hello everyone! :-)

I just wanted to post a couple of small deals I found today. Since they are at Harris Teeter and at Rite Aid then most of my family in Texas and OK probably won't be able to do these, but I still wanted to share. It gives you an idea of what to look for in your stores!

HARRIS TEETER:

This isn't that much but it is still a GREAT deal! I got all of this for $1.04! Here's how I did it.

Gillette Body Wash - $2.99
-$2/1 from 7/31 P&G
-2/1 eVic coupon
Total is $1.01 Money Maker!!!!
Luigi's Real Italian Ice - $3.39 (BOGO)
- $.50/1 from 6/26 SS
Made it $.69 each
Coffee Mate - $1.19 (clearance)
- (2) $.55/1 Internet Printable
- $.50/1 Internet Printable
Total was $.37 for all 3

Figure in $.30 in taxes and the $1.01 I made on the Gillette Body Wash and you have my grand total of $1.04! I like these kinds of deals! :-)

RITE AID:

My deal at Rite Aid could have been better but they don't have Catalina machines at my store! :-(

Once again, I know it is small but it's still a good deal. Here's the breakdown:
2 Arm & Hammer Toothpaste - $3.99 each
- (2) $1/1 Internet Printable
- $3 +UP Reward
Makes it a $.01 Money Maker for each one
2 Degree Deodorant - $2
- (2) $1/1 from 7/31 RP
- $2 +UP Reward
Makes it FREE!
2 Oxi-Clean Stain Remover - 2 for $7
- $3/2 from 7/24 SS
- $2 +UP Reward
- (2) $1 Monthly +UP Reward
Makes it FREE

So, even though it says FREE and Money Maker, I still had to pay $3.26 out of pocket. Here's how it worked. My subtotal was $11.98 and tax made it $13.26. I used a $10 +UP that I had and paid $3.26 OOP. However, I got back $12 in +UP Rewards so you can say my actual OOP was $1.26 of which $1.28 was tax (remember my $.02 moneymaker on the Arm & Hammer?). So, in essence, I only had to pay tax for all of this!

I love getting good deals. It just seems to make my day go better when it starts off like this! :-)

And just think, tomorrow Super Doubles starts at Harris Teeter. Double coupons up to $1.98! I know I should be able to score some great deals there! :-)

Have a great day everyone.

Slow Going Right Now

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that I have not gotten lazy about anything, I've just been trying to adapt to using this laptop and getting used to typing on this little keyboard with my big ol fingers! :-)

When the work week starts, my life becomes  very busy! Working 3:30 to midnight isn't very good for couponing. When I get off, most of the stores are closed and when I wake up and get ready to do something it is lunchtime and not a very good time to go driving around!

I've still got quite a few deals lately so I can't complain. Just yesterday I went to Food Lion and got 6 Hamburger Helper for $4.50 and got back a Catalina coupon for $2 off of beef, tuna or chicken. So, essentially it was 6 Hamburger Helper for $2.50 Not bad at all!

I also have been trying to keep things in the "sane" level. Don't get me wrong, if I see an awesome deal and I have the coupons I will definitely get it. However, I've got so much of so many items right now that I will only get it if it is absolutely free! To me, that is a good problem to have!

I've realized that if I do as the "experts" say and just buy a few papers each week and shop the sales as I need to then I will still be able to do good, I'm not wimping out, just trying to avoid becoming a hoarder! :-)

Anyways, I've got to get in bed so I guess I should say Good Night! Hope you all are doing great!

My Deals For Sunday, 7-31-2011!

Hi everyone! It's been a while. I just wanted to take a moment and post my latest deals. I also wanted to let you know that I plan on starting to add a few different posts each week with info relating to upcoming deals. I hope this may help some of you a little! :-)

Here's what I got today:

Click the picture for a larger image!

This is a culmination of several trips. I just rolled them all up into one! First off will be my Dollar General trips.

DOLLAR GENERAL:

I made trips to several DGs today. My main purpose was to get the FREE Airwick Freshmatics. In this picture I have 11 of them but I ended up with 20 of them before the day was over. Here's the deal, you buy a Airwick Freshmatic refill and it has a free gadget with it. The sale price is $4 and I used the $4 coupon from the 7/10 SS. I ended up having to only pay the $.27 tax on each one! (If I was in Texas I wouldn't have had to pay that but you can't escape taxes in NC!)

RITE-AID:

My drug store trips were only to Rite-Aid and CVS. Here is my scenario at Rite-Aid.
First off, I had Jessica use her card to go through and get 2 Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor packs. Here's the deal on that:
Buy 1 Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor for $9.99
Used $4/1 coupon from 6/5 P&G (expired 7/31)
Get back a $5 +UP reward
Final price was $.99 each.
The llimit on this deal was 2 so I had Jess do 2 and give me the $10 in +UP to do my transactions. I had used up all my +UP rewards so I was starting with nothing. :-)
For my transactions I bought 2 of the razors and paid for them with the +UP from Jessica's transaction. I then used the +UP from that to pay toward my next deal. There were several deals I could have done but I really have no need of anymore shampoo, toothpaste, body wash, or such so I didn't worry about those. I only get those when they are free or almost free! :-)
I did the "Buy $30 of Johnson & Johnson products and get $10 +UP" deal. Here's what I bought for that:
2 Carefree Pantieliners - $1.49 (B1G1 50% off) so the total cost was $2.23 for both
Used (2) $.50/1 coupons from 6/26 SS
Used $1/2 from Rite-Aid AdPerks
1 BenGay Cold Therapy - $8.99
Used $5 coupon from Internet
Used $2 In-Ad Coupon
2 Clean and Clear products at $5.99 (B1G1 50% off) so the total was $8.98
Used (2) $2/1 Internet Printable coupons
2 Clean and Clear products at $6.99 (B1G1 50% off) so the total was $10.48
Used (2) $2/1 Internet Printable coupons
My total was $30.68 before coupons so I qualified for the deal, but just barely! :-)
I also purchased an Oral-B Advantage toothbrush for $2.43 and used a $2/1 from 7/3 P&G just because!
I used the $10 in +UP rewards and my total OOP was $6.34 (after taxes) and I got back a $10 +UP, so that wasn't too bad of a deal!

CVS:

I went to CVS for just 3 things, a Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor, a Bic Soleil Razor and 2 Skinny Cow singles. They were out of the Bic Soleil razors so I didn't get that but I did get the ProGlide and Skinny Cows! The ProGlide was basically the same deal as Rite-Aid but it was limit 1. I used the same coupons and I already had $22 in ECBs so I only had to pay the tax on it. The Skinny Cow was buy one for $.99 and get a $.99 ECB back and I had a BOGO coupon so I was able to buy 2 for $.99 and get a $.99 back.

Wal-Mart:

I don't go to Wal-Mart a lot but I wanted to take advantage of a deal that I had done a couple of times earlier. Most of my P&G coupons were expiring today and I had enough left to do 3 Old Spice deals. The coupon is for a buy 1 Old Spice Red Zone product and get any Old Spice Body Spray for free. I bought the trial size body wash and got the full-size Body Spray for free. It's a legit buy. There were no size specifications. I also bought 2 Reach Floss for $.88 and used a $1 IP for that.
Then there was the BOGO on the Johnsonville Bratwurst Patties. $5.98 for 2 packs was pretty cool!

Anyways, I ended up paying $9.44 for it all. Not bad!

I also forgot to mention that at my first Dollar General visit I bought 2 of the women's Nivea Body Wash for $2.50 and used a $2 coupon so they were basically $.50 each.

So, that's my deals for today. I still have a few coupons left for the Air Wick Freshmatic so maybe I will get those later! :-)

How did you do today?
